Do you have dreams? Something that you really want to reach, you perceive that you would give anything to have it as your life. Something that will drive you crazily happy when you visualize it do come true in your life. To me, dream is what makes you alive. Because somewhat you living life, hoping that dream will eventually come true. It, then, become your goal of life.
Surely, catching a dream would not be easy. In fact, it's not easy at all. You might find yourself suffering, you might have difficult times, you might want to drown yourself along the way. But it's all worth it. That when you look back, and see the trail of your journey, every ups and down, every tears, it will make you able to chin up, and walk with pride. Knowing you've already through that road. Knowing you fight for what you want.
Many people tend to keep the dream as just a dream, which means they only hope and or pray, without doing any effort to transform the dream into something more real. Some have no confidence in themselves. "I won't able to do that, it's too much for me". One thing that I learn from dream-catching activities is always have faith in ourselves. Do you know about self fulfilling prophecy theory? The theory said that what you perceived is what happened to be the truth. If you thought about yourself as a mentally disturbed person, then eventually you will be a mentally disturbed person. If you believe that you can do something, you can. It is the power of mind, my friend. Once you firmly believe in something, it will eventually happen.
Some people are afraid that they might fail, and that is what keeps them from even trying. The thought of failing hurt them so much, which gives them no chance to ever feel the pain itself. They don't understand that failing is just one step closer to grab the dream. Do not forget that stairways to heaven, or in this case your dream, is not only one or two or three steps. It's waaaaay more. You might find hundred steps before finally reaching heaven. When you fail, you always learn something from that failure which will make you tougher and smarter.
My father once told me that not everyone get the luxury of having their dream come true. Even though he/she has done and sacrificed everything. The moment he spilled those facts, I hardly believed in him. I always believe that whatever we want, if we work hard for it, we can have them. But the more I thought about it, I found that he might be right. Even though I know he said that to hush my excessive ambition-so that when I fail, it won't hurt me badly-his words has truth in it.
You see, in the end it's not about the dream. It's about how far we will go for that dream. Are you brave enough? Are you willing to take risks? Or are you just going to wait for miracles? Well, I tell you this, miracles do happen, but they also need you to lead the way. What truly matter is that you do something in order to catching up your dream, and not having questions wandering around your head, what your life would be if you just do this, do that, bla bla bla. And as I said before, fighting for your dream will make you eventually proud of yourself when you look back on your life. You know that you actually fight.
So, take chances! Don't be afraid to fail. Get out from your comfort zone! And start catching up dreams!!

some people even don't have the luxury to dream, as in, growing ideas of something which will part them further from the reality.
why should not dream? just like the new tagline of starmild, ADA OBSESI ADA JALAN. things would be rough, that's for sure. but when you have no objective, you would be drawn deeper in what so called reality.
dare to dream.
